Pathway to UOWD Degrees

To be eligible for the International Foundation Year (IFY), students need to be least 17 years old, have completed 12 years of high school education, and have a recognised English language qualification such as IELTS overall score of 5.0.

The requirements based on the most common high school curricula are listed below:

Qualification	International Foundation Year (IFY) Entry Requirement
UAE	Business stream: Successful completion with an average grade of 70% or more for Advanced or Elite Track students; 75% or more for General Track students
UAE	Engineering stream: Successful completion with an average grade of 75% or more for elite Track students; 80% or more for Advanced Track students.
AS Level	2 D Grades from a UK A-Level Board
A Level	1 D Grade from a UK A-Level Board
India: Higher Secondary Certificate/Standard 12	Successful completion with average 40% (including at least 40% in Math)
International Baccalaureate	Successful completion with a minimum of 22 points
English Language Requirement
Business & Engineering stream	IELTS 5 EmSAT 1100 Or equivalent

If you would like to pursue a bachelor's degree in business with UOWD, you are required to complete a personal online interview, as an admission criteria. If required, in-person interviews may be arranged as a second step.
