- Dr Ziang Wang
Dr Ziang Wang is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD). Dr Ziang completed his PhD in Decision Sciences and Managerial Economics from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Dr Ziang is committed to an engaging and interactive teaching style. He utilises data-driven approaches and modern business analytics tools to foster a practical understanding of the subject matter among students.
Dr Ziang’s research interests include business analytics and FinTech, specifically blockchain technology, on-chain data analysis, big data in business research, machine learning applications, supply chain credit risk, supply chain human capital investment, supply chain network, supply chain resilience, and green supply chain management.
Prior to joining UOWD, Dr Ziang Wang served as an Assistant Professor (Research) at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Researcher at The Research Centre for Blockchain Technology (in PolyU).

Dr Ziang Wang has extensive industry and consulting experience in the fields of blockchain technology and supply chain management. He serves as an active referee for prestigious journals such as the Journal of Operations Management, Decision Support Systems, and Production and Operations Management. Additionally, Dr. Wang has chaired conference sessions at various international conferences, including the POMS Annual Conference and the INFORMS Annual Meeting.
